Sledge Hockey Manitoba and Society for Manitobans with Disabilities will be holding a Sledge Hockey open house at the Brandon Sportsplex September 18th from 1-3 Pm.   Sledges and hockey sticks will be provided for individuals interested in trying this sport.

Sledge Hockey Manitoba is hoping to have a small scrimmage game with a local community group before opening up the equipment to the general public.

Equipment required;  hockey gloves, hockey helmet with cage.

Cost:  there is no cost to participate in the open house.

Age Group:  open to all age groups and abilities.

Goal of the open house:  Sledge Hockey Manitoba and Society for Manitobans with Disabilities is attempting to start a Sledge Hockey Chapter in the city of Brandon.  If there is enough interest from individuals SLM and SMD will attempt to start this great adapted ice hockey sport.
