This Monday a mix of Intermediate and Advanced players had the opportunity to play against the squadron 402 “City of Winnipeg”, of the 17 Wing, from the military group. The wanted to recognize the International Day of Person with Disabilities (December 3rd), but also put a big emphasis on fitness. They said this was an excellent chance for the squadron members to bond while being active. They collected 150 pounds of food for Winnipeg Harvest and raised money, which they donated to Sledge Hockey Manitoba. Everyone had a smile on their face during the entire game, so much positive energy, great crowed and a hard battled fun game! Sledge Hockey Manitoba want to thank 402 "City of Winnipeg" and everyone else for attending this great event!!!
